Great help for beginners. I've lost nearly 50 lbs using this method of walking and am having a lot more fun than just taking a walk. Met a German lady the other day who got so excited to see someone using this technique here in the Great Plains, USA. Think it made her a little homesick.

Most importantly gives instructions on how to determine the correct length for the poles. Excellent pictures to illustrate the text. One point down as I'm still confused over trekking and Nordic walking lol. Does not help that most of the poles on don't diffferentiate...
Besides the correct pole size choice I didn't find any really useful information. It's a good start, but I expected more.
Definitely enjoyed the book with its side notes and obstructionism. Have been a walk/run person, as well as n interval walker/ runner. AM DEFINTELY LOOKING FORWARD TO TRYING THIS OUT,as soon as I receive my Nordic poles.
This is a good book if you want to get started in Nordic walking and really don't need anything super comprehensive on the subject. Easy to read and the visuals are also easy to follow. Great read for anyone needing a start in the right direction.
